Premier League preview and odds: Leicester vs Liverpool
February 2, 2016 19:45pm - King Power Stadium
Premier League
Since losing to Liverpool on Boxing Day, Leicester have gone unbeaten in five and have remained at the summit of the Premier League. Will they get revenge over the Reds at the King Power Stadium, or can Liverpool do the double over this season`s surprise title contenders?
Foxes still on top
Yet another month has gone by and Leicester City are still on top of the Barclays Premier League. They have lost just one of their last 16 league games and that defeat came against this Tuesday`s opponents Liverpool.
Last time out, Claudio Ranieri`s men cruised to a 3-0 home win against ninth-ranked Stoke City to record their first home win in three, having previously played out consecutive goalless draws against Bournemouth and Manchester City. The win against Stoke also saw the Foxes secure their third straight clean sheet on home soil.
Liverpool with eye on top six
Having booked a place in their 12th League Cup final and kept their name in the FA Cup hat last week, Liverpool will now be looking to give their Premier League campaign a much-needed boost, by completing the double over the league leaders.
In their last league match, the Reds grabbed all three points in a 5-4 away win over Norwich that may well go down as one of the most entertaining games of the Premier League era. That win lifted them up into seventh place in the table - however, they still remain eight points adrift of the coveted top-four positions.
Team news
The home side will have to make do without Jeff Schlupp, Matthew James and Ritchie de Laet.
Meanwhile, the visitors will continue without Philippe Countinho, Divock Origi, Martin Skrtel, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson.

Betting odds and tips
Only Arsenal have come away from the King Power Stadium with all three points this season. However, Liverpool are the only other team to have beaten Leicester in the league this season.
