Premier League preview and odds: West Bromwich Albion vs Swansea City
February 2, 2016 20:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
Two teams sat side-by-side in the Premier League table will battle it out for supremacy on Tuesday night, as 14th-ranked West Brom take on a rejuvenated Swansea City side at the Hawthorns in the Barclays Premier League.
Baggies keeping out of trouble
West Brom have not set the world on fire this season but they have done enough to keep themselves out of trouble. With 15 games left to go, they still have a seven-point cushion over the relegation zone and will be keen to maintain a similar distance heading into the last dozen matches.
However, a recent run of 10 games with just two wins has not helped the BaggiesÂ’ cause, and if they continue in that vein, they could find themselves under pressure from the chasing pack. Last time out, they were held to a goalless draw at home by bottom club Aston Villa.
Swansea keen to continue revival
Swansea finally have a new Coach at the helm, and have been further boosted by recent back-to-back league victories. As a result of their mini-revival, the Welsh side have risen to 15th in the table, four points clear of Newcastle, who occupy the first relegation place.
Francesco GuidolinÂ’s men come into this fixture on the back of an impressive 2-1 win at Everton, and prior to that, they grabbed all three points at home to Watford (1-0).
Team news
The home side will be hampered by the absence of Callum McManaman - however, Darren Fletcher and Chris Brunt both have a chance of being involved.
Meanwhile, Swansea have a full strength squad to choose from.

Betting odds and tips
West Brom have been undone at home five times this term and did not look convincing against Villa last time out.
Having drawn at Palace and won at Everton on their recent travels, Swansea are quite capable of taking something away from the Hawthorns.
