Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City - Premier League Preview and Odds
February 02, 2020 16:30pm - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London)
Premier League
Despite winning just two of their last seven Premier League matches, Tottenham Hotspur are still in the hunt for a Champions League spot. A win on Sunday would move them to within four points of fourth-ranked Chelsea. Meanwhile, Manchester City are battling to put distance between themselves and third-ranked Leicester City.
It has been a rocky start in North London for Jose Mourinho but with other mid-table teams struggling, Spurs still have plenty to play for. As well as having a Champions League tie against RB Leipzig to look forward to, they are still locked in a battle for the European place in the league and are still involved in the FA Cup.
The Whites` other home games against teams currently above them in the league have yielded one draw (Sheffield United) and two defeats (Liverpool and Chelsea) so they will have their work cut out beating the reigning Premier League champions.
Meanwhile, City are in the strange position of knowing they are unlikely to retain their league title with 14 games still to play. They can now focus on the cup competitions they are involved in but will also want to ensure they finish above the chasing pack led by Leicester City.
The Sky Blues have lost three of their last 10 on the road including a defeat at rock-bottom Norwich City. They also draw at Newcastle and lost at Wolves and Liverpool in that time. As a result, their odds-on price may be a little short. When the two sides met at the Etihad earlier in the campaign, the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Predicted line-ups:
Tottenham: Lloris Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Tanganga Lo Celso, Winks, Ndombele Alli Lucas, Son
Man City: Ederson Walker, Fernandinho, Laporte, Zinchenko Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne Mahrez, Aguero, Sterling

Betting odds and tips
This is a tough one to call as Tottenham have been fairly unpredictable this season. Mourinho will set out to frustrate Guardiola`s men and if he gets his tactics right, we could see a low scoring draw.
The 0-0 scoreline certainly looks tempting for a small stake with prices of 20/1 available, while the 18/5 on offer for the draw also looks good value.
You can back the Draw at 18/5 or a Correct Score of 0-0 at 20/1..
