La Liga preview and odds: Sevilla vs Eibar
March 02, 2016 19:00pm - Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan
La Liga
Sevilla will be hoping to continue their dominant home form when they welcome a faltering Eibar team to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in La Liga.
Sevilla on 11-game winning streak at home
Sevilla`s remarkable home form is matched only by their equally woeful away form. Only Barcelona have won more games on home soil that the Andalucian side, yet they remain the only team in the league without a win on the road.
Unai Emery`s men have won their last 11 home games in a row, and have conceded just two goals in their last six. They have scored at least one goal in their last 12 games on home soil.
They come into this game on the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat away to runaway league leaders Barcelona.
Five defeats in six for Eibar
After a strong start to the season, Eibar have hit a bit of a sticky patch. The Basque Country side have one just one of the last six league games, having lost the other five. Away from home, they have lost six of their last eight despite scoring in all but one of those games.
In their last match, they were beaten 1-0 at home by Las Palmas. Prior to that game, their visitors had not won a single game away from home in La Liga since 2001.
Mendilibars men scored nine times in their last four away games but could only managed a single win and three defeats.
Team news
The home side will be without the services of the injured Grzegorz Krychowiak, Nicolas Pareja and Marco Andreolli.
Meanwhile, the visitors from North Spain will be without Ekiza, Ramis, Luna, Jaime and Keko.
