Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal - Premier League Preview and Odds
March 02, 2019 12:30pm - Wembley Stadium
Premier League
With a title challenge now looking unlikely, Tottenham Hotspur can focus on securing a top-four finish. The Londoners are just five point clear of fifth-ranked Manchester United and just four ahead of Saturday`s opponents Arsenal who kick off in fourth.
After forcing their way back into contention for the title race, back-to-back defeats away to Burnley and Chelsea have left Spurs nine points adrift of league leaders Liverpool with just 10 games left to play. What`s more, their place in the top four is far from secure with two of the big six teams breathing down their necks. These are the set of circumstances in which Mauricio Pochettino`s men will kick off the latest instalment of the North London derby.
Arsenal won the reverse fixture 4-2 back in December, but Spurs got revenge by dumping them out of the League Cup at the Emirates Stadium later in the same month. Honours have been quite even between the two teams in recent years with both teams having won two of their last four Premier League matches.
The White Hart Lane club have lost four of their last nine Premier League matches, their worst run since the end of 2017.
Meanwhile, Arsenal arrive in decent form having won five of their last six Premier League matches, their only defeat coming away to Manchester City. However, their away form makes grim reading with just one win in their last seven, that came against bottom-of-the-pile Huddersfield Town.
Unai Emery`s men are just a point inside the top four with an in-form Manchester United waiting to pounce on any slip up. That will bring added pressure to what will already be a nervy game for the Gunners.

Betting odds and tips
A North London Derby is always special, but when both teams are fighting for a place in the top four, there is added spice.
Arsenal look the form team, but their away record has been patchy in recent weeks. They will be hoping the short journey alleviates some of their travel sickness.
Spurs have won their last four home games in all competitions including a 3-0 triumph over Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund. As a result, they look well priced at 11/10 to bounce back from two-straight defeats with a win.
Both teams have scored in all but one of Arsenal`s away games this term, so that bet also looks decent with prices of around 5/9 available.
You can back Tottenham to Win at 11/10 and Both Teams to Score at 5/9. These two bets can be combined in the Match Result and Both Teams to Score market at a price of 13/5.
