Bayern aiming for fifth straight semi-final

Benfica eyeing first semi-final in 26 years
Benfica last reached the semi-finals of Europe`s elite competition back in 1990 when it was still known as the European Cup. In their most recent quarter-final appearance, they were beaten 3-1 on aggregate by English side Chelsea.
On the two previous occasions that they did make it to the semi-final stage (1988 and 1990), the Portuguese side progressed to the final. They come into this game having won 19 of their last 20 games in all competitions. Their only defeat in that time came against Porto back in February.
Team news
The home side will be without Joshua Kimmich, Arjen Robben, Holger Badstuber and Jerome Boateng, while Javi Martinez remains a doubt.
The visitors will be hampered by the absence of Julio Cesar, Lisandro Lopez, Nuno Santos and Luisao.

Betting odds and tips
Benfica`s current form is impressive but Bayern have the form and experience in the competition. The Germans will be priced too short to win the first leg, so look at the goals market instead.
