Manchester United vs West Bromwich Albion - Premier League preview and odds
April 01, 2017 15:00pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 18 matches when they take on eight-ranked West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.
United bidding for top four finish
Having spent much of the season occupying sixth place in the Premier League table, Manchester United are finally edging their way towards the top four. Having leapfrogged Arsenal last time out, they will now set their sets on catching fourth-ranked Liverpool.
Despite their unbeaten run, the Red Devils have not been totally dominant on home soil, having drawn three of their last four at Old Trafford. That run included disappointing stalemates against Hull City and AFC Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion look to be on course for an eighth-place finish having pulled seven points clear of chasing Stoke City. The Baggies have looked a much better side on home soil this season but their away form has continued to let them down.
However, Tony Pulis` men have won on two of their last three visits to Old Trafford and with the home side missing some key players, they will fancy their chances of coming away with at least a point.
Team news
Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both suspended for the home side, while Jesse Lingard (ankle), Daley Blind (head), Paul Pogba (hamstring), Antony Martial (knock), Wayne Rooney (knee) and Juan Mata (groin) are also set to miss out.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without James Morrison (ankle) and Matt Phillips (hamstring strain).

Betting odds and tips
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 12 matches on home soil but they have drawn seven of those matches.
West Bromwich have conceded at least one goal in each of their last 13 away matches and have won just twice in that sequence of games. However, they have won on two of their last three trips to Old Trafford and could frustrate their opponents once again this weekend. Having said that, Jose Mourinho`s men can still be expected to edge this one.
As a result, the Draw/Man United Halftime/Fulltime bet looks tempting at 11/2, while the Under 2.5 Goals bet is also a strong pick at around Evens.
