Everton have amassed four points from their first three Premier League matches but only have a single goal to their name. They will need to up their game if they are to compete for the European place this term. Next up is a home clash against a Wolverhampton Wanderers side who remain unbeaten in the league and dumped Torino out of the Europa League qualification play-offs in midweek.

Marco Silva`s did manage to score four goals in their midweek game away to Lincoln in the League Cup but were soundly beaten 2-0 by newly promoted Aston Villa last week. Currently sitting in 12th place, a win on Sunday could lift them into the top six while defeat could see the Toffee`s sink into the bottom six and leave them eight points adrift of the league leaders after just four games.

Wolves` first European campaign in decades began well with a two-legged win over Italian club Torino. They must now turn their attention back to the Premier League where they sit just one place above the drop zone after drawing their first three matches. Nunos men are one of only four teams yet to be beaten in the top flight.

When the two sides met at Goodison Park last season, it was the visitors who came out on top cruising to a 3-1 win. The last time Everton beat Wolves was back in 2011.
