Southampton will look to end a nine-game winless streak when they host Manchester United at St. Mary`s on Saturday evening. The visitors themselves are without a win in two and in danger of slipping out of the race for the top four.

The pressure is already mounting on Mark Hughes who has guided his team to just one victory this season, the least of any team in the league. The Saints currently sit in 19th place in the league with a tally of eight points. Only goal difference separates them from bottom of the table Fulham.

Despite having recorded just one win, Southampton have managed five draws, the most of any team in the league. Turning those draws into wins will be the challenge for the Saints` boss, but based on current form they look more likely to slump to further defeats.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will hope to avoid embarrassment when they make the long journey south on Saturday. Jose Mourinho`s men are already 14 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and seven points outside of the top four.

The Red Devils arrive here on the back of a 1-0 win at home to Young Boys which sealed their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League. If their league form does not improve, they may need to win that competition in order to take part in next seasons edition.

The Old Trafford club have won just one of their last four away matches in the Premier League so there will be some nerves ahead of this game. They have already fallen to the likes West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion this term so a win here is by no means a certainty.
