Premier League preview and odds: Watford vs Chelsea
February 3, 2016 20:00pm - Vicarage Road
Premier League
Watford can retain their place in the top half of the Premier League with a win over reigning champions Chelsea at Vicarge Road on Wednesday night.
Watford put brakes on slide
After briefly dropping to 12th place following a run of four straight defeats, Watford reversed their descent with a 2-1 home win against relegation-threatened Newcastle last week.
The Hornets look set to retain their Premier League status for a second year but boss Quique Sanchez Flores has his eyes set on a top half finish. A win against Chelsea would provide a massive confidence boost for the Hertfordshire side heading into the final months of the season.
Chelsea unbeaten under Hiddink
A run of seven games without defeat has helped to ease any relegation fears that may have been creeping into the Chelsea camp. The Londoners cant stop looking over their shoulders just yet, but they are now seven points clear of the drop zone and appear to be well on course for survival.
The Blues come into this game after securing an impressive 1-0 win away to Arsenal. It was their second win under Guus Hiddink and ensured that they completed the double over their London rivals.
Team news
Watford should have a full strength team to choose from.
Meanwhile, the visitors are waiting on the fitness of Willian and Loic Remy.
