Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United - Premier League Preview and Odds
April 2, 2019 19:45pm - Molineux Stadium
Premier League
Just a couple of weeks after Wolves dumped Manchester United out of the FA Cup, the two sides go head to head again, this time in the Premier League.
The hosts are currently top of the `without top six` table, level on points with Brendan Rodgers` Leicester City. As well as aiming to finish as the best of the rest, Nuno`s men are also fighting for a place in next season`s the Europa League. That would be a significant achievement for a club that last played European football back in 1980. They can achieve this by winning the FA Cup or finishing seventh with Manchester City winning the FA Cup.
The team in gold have won just one of their last six Premier League matches, drawing three and losing two. Last time out, they fell 2-0 away to Burnley after a disappointing display. However, when looking at their home form in isolation it makes much better reading with three wins and a draw in their last four league games and six wins and a draw in all competitions.
Manchester United are facing a battle of their own to finish in the top four, a feat that seemed impossible when Ole Gunnar Solksjaer first took over in December. With the Norwegian now confirmed as permanent boss, he will be keen to prove he can keep the side performing at a high level on a consistent basis.
After a blistering run of form, the Red Devils have now lost two of their last three in all competitions including the cup defeat to Tuesdays opponents and a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal that caused them to slip out of the top four.

Betting odds and tips
Wolves are a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team at home, but they have managed wins over Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, and drawn against Manchester City. As a result, they look good value to complete a league and cup double over the Old Trafford club with prices as high as 10/3 available. That could be worth a small stake.
United have scored away from home in 14 of their last 15 Premier League matches, so the Both Teams to Score bet also looks tempting.
You can back the Home win at 10/3 or Both Teams to Score at 10/11.
