Champions League Preview and Odds - Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
April 18, 2017 19:45pm - Estádio Santiago Bernabeu
Champions League - Semi-finals first leg
Arch rivals go head-to-head in Europe once again
Real Madrid will take on their fiercest rivals over two legs as they go in search of their 12th European Cup title on Tuesday night. The team in white left it late at the weekend as they squeezed past Valencia 2-1 on home soil to keep the advantage in the title race.
Zinedine Zidane`s men are unbeaten in their last seven matches against their rivals in all competitions and claimed four points from their two league meetings this term. Despite that statistic, the games between the two have often been tight with goals few and far between.
Atletico Madrid come into this game having put five goals with response past Las Palmas at the weekend but will be rueing the loss of Jose Maria Gimenez in that match. They have won just three of their last nine away matches in this event including last years final against their city rivals in Milan.
Diego Simeone`s men made hard work of their quarter-final clash against Leicester City but ultimately got the job done with typical efficiency.
Team news
The home side will have to make do without Jose Gimenez, Juanfran, Sime Vrsaljko and Augusto Fernandez.
Meanwhile, Fabio Coentrao, Gareth Bale and Pepe will all be out of action for the visitors.

Betting odds and tips
Six of the last seven encounters between these two sides have produced Under 2.5 Goals and three of them ended in 1-1 draws.
The home side have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 11 matches in this competition but they also found the net themselves in each of those games.
While Champions League home matches for Los Blancos have often featured plenty of goals, games against their rivals have proved to be exceptions to the rule.
You can back under 2.5 goals at 3/4 with Bet365. If you combine that with a home win, you can get a price of 13/4.
