Everton will look to extend their unbeaten run to seven games when they welcome 14th-ranked Bournemouth to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, a point or more for the visitors would help to keep safe distance between them and the relegation zone.

Toffees on course for seventh place

Everton seem to have made seventh place in the league their own this season but will not give up in their attempt to chase down sixth-ranked Manchester United.

The Toffee`s have not lost a Premier League match since the Merseyside derby defeat to Liverpool back in December and have only conceded one league goal in 2017.

Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth are still languishing in the relative safety of mid-table but could get dragged into trouble if they continue they current run of form.

The Cherries have won just one of their last seven matches and that victory came against a struggling Swansea side back in December. Away from home, Eddie Howe`s men have conceded at least three goals in four of their last five matches.

Team news

The home side are still managing a significant injury list that consists of Dominic Calvert-Lewin (knock), Yannick Bolasie (knee), Muhamed Besic (knee ligament) and Matthew Pennington (thigh), while Idrissa Gana Gueye has been away on African Cup of Nations duty.

The visitors can count themselves a bit more fortunate with Marc Wilson (hamstring) the only doubt for inlcusion.
