Premier League preview and odds: Leicester City vs Hull City
March 04, 2017 15:00 pm - King Power Stadium
Premier League
After beating Liverpool so convincingly last week, Leicester City will look to continue where they left off when they take on relegation rivals Hull City at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester still searching for permanent replacement for Ranieri
Barely a week has gone by since Leicester City sacked Coach Claudio Ranieri but plenty has happened since then. On Monday might the club cruised to a 3-1 win over top four contenders Liverpool under the guidance of caretaker boss Craig Shakepseare, and they have since been linked with several high-profile managers including Roy Hodgson and Guus Hiddink.
With no appointment imminent, Shakespeare is likely to be in charge again for this weekend`s game, with many calling for him to be given the job on a permanent basis. If he can oversee a second win in as many games, that scenario could well become a reality.
The question remains as to whether the Foxes can carry last week`s performance into the weekend. But with Jamie Vardy back in scoring mood, they have plenty of reason to feel confident.
Meanwhile, Hull City are still stranded in the bottom tree, despite some noticeable improvement since the arrival of Coach Marco Silva. However, their away form remains poor, with just one point and three goals gained from their last 11 trips away from the KCOM Stadium. In fact, the Tigers`` last away win came at Swansea way back in August.
Team news
Loanee Molla Wague (dislocated shoulder) remains the only injury worry for the home side.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without the injured group of Michael Dawson (calf strain), Curtis Davies (hamstring strain), Ryan Mason (fractured skull), Markus Henriksen (dislocated shoulder), Will Keane (knee), Greg Luer (cartilage), Brian Lenihan (knee) and Moses Odubajo (MPFL), while Harry Maguire (knee), Lazar Markovic (knock) and Evandro (calf strain) are all doubtful.
