Premier League preview and odds: Manchester United vs AFC Bournemouth
March 04 , 2017 12:30 pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United will look to claim fourth spot in the league (on a temporary basis at least) when they host out-of-form AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime. Another defeat for the visitors could see them dragged into a relegation battle.
United on the rise
Manchester United have flown under the radar for much of the season, having spent most of this term occupying sixth place in the table. However, they now have a chance to leapfrog Liverpool and Arsenal (who play each other later) to claim fourth spot in the table.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 16 Premier League matches, having won nine and drawn seven and no team has picked up more points over the last eight matches. On home soil, they are unbeaten in their last 11, although they did draw six of those games. Seven of their last 10 home games have produced less than 2.5 Goals.
Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth are on the brink of a crisis, having failed to win any of their last seven Premier League matches and only one of their last 10. As a result, they have slipped from the comfort of mid-table and are now just four points above the drop zone.
Eddie Howe`s men have only managed two wins and two draws in the 15 games they have played away from home since last April. Their last seven away games have all produced 2.5 Goals or more.
Team news
Jose Mourinho will be without Henrikh Mkhitaryan (hamstring strain) and Phil Jones (hamstring strain) for this clash.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to cope without the services of Jordon Ibe (knee), Adam Federici (knee), Simon Francis (hamstring strain) and Callum Wison (ACL).

Betting odds and tips
Games involving Bournemouth have produced 87 goals this season - only matches involving Liverpool have produced more. Their matches against the top six have been particularly goal heavy.
As a result, another high goal count can be expected on Saturday.
