Premier League preview and odds: Stoke City vs Everton
February 6, 2016 15:00pm - Britannia Stadium
Premier League
Mid-table neighbours Stoke City and Everton will jostle for mid-table positions on Saturday when the sides meet at the Britannia Stadium in the Barclays Premier League.
Stoke on the slide
Not so long ago, Stoke City were in the hunt for European places, but a run of five games with just one win has brought them back into the more familiar territory of the mid-table zone.
The Potters will be glad to get back on home soil after suffering back-to-back 3-0 defeats away from home to Manchester United and Leicester City.
Mark Hughes` men have lost just one of their last six league games at the Britannia and will be hoping to get back to winning ways against the team just one place below them in the table.
Everton boosted by first win in five
Everton can leapfrog Stoke and reclaim their place in the top half of the Premier League table with a win on Saturday afternoon. The Merseyside club moved back up to 11th place after securing their first win in six matches at home to Newcastle last week.
Away from home, Roberto Martinez`s men have drawn five of their last six matches, with their only win in that spell also coming against Newcastle.
Team news
For the home side, Philipp Wollschield, Ryan Shawcross, Marc Wilson, Charlie Adam and Geoff Cameron will all be missing.
Meanwhile, the visitors will be without John Stones, Tim Howard, Muhamed Besic, Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert, while Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas are both doubtful.
