Premier League preview and odds: Everton vs West Ham United
March 05, 2016 15:00pm - Goodison Park
Premier League
Everton do not have much left to play for in the Premier League but they will be keen to finish as high up the table possible. Next up for the Toffees is a home match against Champions League contenders West Ham United.
Home form still a worry for Everton
A run of three wins in their last four games has put some gloss on what has been a disappointing campaign for Everton. However, the Merseyside club are still stranded in the bottom half of the table and will be looking to improve on their position during the run-in.
The biggest issue for Roberto Martinezs men has been their home form. The Toffees have won just one of their last seven league matches at Goodison Park and have just four homes wins to their name this season.
Away from home , things have been much more positive, and they come into this game on the back of a 3-1 win at Bottom club Aston Villa.
Hammers genuine Champions League contenders
A run of 15 games with just two defeats has left West Ham United with a genuine chance of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. The Hammers are currently occupying sixth place in the Premier League table, just a point behind the two Manchester clubs directly above them. Of those three teams, it is the Londoners who have the best form over the last 10 games.
In their last match they edged to a 1-0 win at home over London rivals and title contenders Tottenham Hotspur.
Team news
The home side will be without the injured trio of Darron Gibson, Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert.
Meanwhile, Slaven Bilic will have to operate without the services of Enner Valencia, Joey O`Brien, Winston Reid, James Tomkins and Carl Jenkinson.
