Premier League preview and odds: Swansea City vs Norwich City
March 05, 2016 15:00pm - Liberty Stadium
Premier League
Two teams still very much invloved in the Premier League relegation equation will battle it out on Saturday, as resurgent Swansea City welcome sinking rivals Norwich City to the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea in positive mood
Swansea City gave their Premier League survival hopes a massive boost in midweek when they secured a shock away win at third-ranked Arsenal. The win did not improve their league position but it did increase their gap over the bottom three to six points.
They can further increase the gap over at least one of the bottom three with a win over Norwich this weekend. However, Francesco Guidolin`s men have won just two of their last 12 matches on home soil.
The Swans will be buoyed by the fact that their visitors have lost nine of their last 10 away matches in the league.
Norwich still descending
Norwich City`s steady descent into the bottom three continued in midweek when they were beaten 2-1 on home soil by a born-again Chelsea side. The Canaries now occupy 18th place with only goal difference keeping them above Newcastle United.
Alex Neil`s men have lost seven of their last eight Premier League matches, and nine of their last 10 away from home. In their last five away games, they scored just a single goal and failed to pick up any points.
Team news
The home side remain injury-free, while Andre Wisdom is the only injury concern for the visitors.
