Premier League preview and odds: Watford vs Leicester City
March 05, 2016 17:30pm - Vicarage Road Stadium
Premier League
Watford can boost their chances of finishing in the top 10 with a win on Saturday - however, they will have to overcome a Leicester City side that are leading the way in the Premier League title race.
Watford aiming high
Watford were unlucky not to come away with a point from their visit to Old Trafford in midweek. The Hornets remained competitive throughout the game but were eventually undone by a moment of quality from Juan Mata with just six minutes left on the clock.
As a result of that defeat, Quique Sanchez Flores` team have slipped back into the bottom half of the table - however, their Premeir League has been all but secured for next season. They will now set their sights on finishing as high up the table as possible.
Leicester increased lead despite draw
When Leicester City drew with West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday, it appeared that their lead at the top of the Premier League would be reduced by the chasing teams. As it happened, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City all lost and the Foxes increased their lead over all three by a point.
The East Midlands side will be looking to maintain or even increase their lead this weekend, with a win at promoted side Watford. In their last away game, Claudio Ranieri`s men lost for only the third time this season when they fell 2-1 at the Emirates. In their previous away game, they strolled to a dominating 3-1 win at Manchester City.
Team news
The home side will once again be without the injured pair of Jose Jurado Marin and Joel Ekstrand. Meanwhile the visitors will have to cope without N`Golo Kante and Matthew James

Betting odds and tips
Leicester City will once again be without influential midfielder Kante who is suffering from a hamstring problem. They are certainly more dangerous with the Frenchman in the side.
Watford have played out consecutive goalless draws in their last two home matches, and could restrict their visitors to a point again this weekend.
