Premier League preview and odds: Watford vs West Bromwich Albion
April 04, 2017 19:45pm - Vicarage Road Stadium
Premier League
Watford could break back into the top 10 with a win over eight-ranked West Bromwich Albion when the two teams go head-to-head at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night.
Watford edging towards safety
Just like last season, Watford look to be on course for Premier League survival. However, there is still plenty of speculation as to whether Italian boss Walter Mazzarri will still be at the helm nest season.
The Hornets have lost just one of their last five home matches, having also won two and drawn two. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win over rock-bottom Sunderland that lifted them up to 12th place in the table, seven points clear of the drop zone.
Meanwhile, opponents West Bromwich Albion will look to consolidate their eighth place ranking by picking up their first away win in five matches on Tuesday night. The Baggies have drawn three of their last four on the road including a goalless stalemate at Old Trafford last time out.
Tony Pulis` men were drawing 0-0 at halftime in seven of their away games this season and were drawing in nine of them.
Team news
Younes Kaboul (hamstring strain), Valon Behrami (hamstring strain), Ben Watson (groin strain), Mauro Zarate, Christian Kabasele (calf strain) and Roberto Pereyra (muscular) are all out of action for the home side.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Matt Phillips (hamstring strain).

Betting odds and tips
Watford have been fairly resolute at home in recent weeks and should at least hold their visitors until the halftime break. West Brom`s away record on nine half time draws also adds weight to this prediction.
