Premier League
There is sure to be a party atmosphere on Saturday evening as Premier League champions Leicester City take on mid-table Everton at the King Power Stadium
Leicester City crowned champions with two games to spare
Leicester City will take to the field as Premier League champions for the first time in their history on Saturday as they play out the first of their two remaining games.
While many questioned whether they would have the right mentality to navigate a difficult run-in, the team from the East Midlands calmly went about their business and got the job done with two games to spare. In the end, it was rivals Tottenham Hotspur who buckled under the pressure.
The Foxes come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Manchester United that ultimately secure their first ever top-flight crown. On home soil, they have only been beaten once all season and have kept clean sheets in eight of their last 10 games.
One win in eight for Everton
Everton arrive in Leicester on the back of their first win in the last eight matches. The Toffees edged to a 2-1 win over 15th-ranked AFC Bournemouth to give themselves an outside chance of making the top 10.
Away from home, Roberto Martinez`s men are winless in four, having drawn two and lost two, scoring just a single goal in the process. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish coach will still be at the helm of the Merseyside club next term, with several managers already being linked to his role.
Team news
Danny Drinkwater will serve out a one-match ban for the home side on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Phil Jagielka, Seamus Coleman and Tyias Browning are all out for the visitors, while Gareth Barry remains very doubtful.
