Premier League preview and odds: Burnley vs Crystal Palace
November 05, 2016 15:00pm - Turf Moor
Premier League
Newly-promoted Burnley will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to three games on Saturday when they play host to a Crystal Palace side who have lost their last three games in a row.
Burnley and Palace neck-and-neck in the Premier League table
Burnley can leapfrog their opponents in the Premier League table with a win on home soil this weekend. Only goal difference is currently separating the two sides who occupy the 13th and 14th positions in the table respectively.
The home side will be coming into this game full of confidence after holding Manchester United to a 0-0 draw away from home last time out, having previously defeated Everton by two goals to one at Turf Moor.
Since returning to the Premier League, the Clarets have been beaten just once at home (a 0-1 defeat to Arsenal), having won three and drawn the other. They have scored 88% of all their goals at home this season.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have hit another sticky patch and come into this game on the back of three straight defeats. Last time out, they were beaten 4-2 at home by third-ranked Liverpool.
The Eagles have conceded at least one goal in every game they have played this term and have conceded first in eight of their 10 games. Overall, they have been slightly more productive away from home, with 64% of their points coming on the road.
Team news
Burnley could welcome back Steven Defour from a hamstring injury, while Stephen Ward will miss out with the same problem.
Meanwhile, Connor Wickham should be available for Crystal Palace, while Jonathan Benteke (knee), Pape Soure (broken leg) and Loic Remy (thigh) will all miss out.
Recent form (League):

Crystal Palace: LLLDW
Betting odds and tips
Burnley are strong at home, while Alan Pardew`s men have performed slightly better on the road. However, while Palace`s victories on the road have come against lowly Middlesbrough and Sunderland, Burnley have defeated the top-7 trio of Liverpool, Everton and Watford at Turf Moor. As a result the home side look good value for the win.
