Premier League preview and odds: Chelsea vs Manchester United
February 7, 2016 16:00pm - Stamford Bridge
Premier League
Chelsea will be looking to salvage some pride from their disastrous season on Sunday when they welcome Champions League-chasing Manchester United to Stamford Bridge in the Barclays Premier League.
Blues enjoying unbeaten run
Gus Hiddink may have steadied the Chelsea ship but the Londoners are still stranded in the bottom half of the Premier League with just 29 points to their name. Since the Dutchman arrived, the Blues have won two and drawn five of their seven games. They will need to start turning more of those draws into victories if they are claw their way back into the top 10.
Last time out, they picked up a point on the road after holding Watford to a goalless draw at Vicarage Road. Prior to that they earned an impressive win away to Arsenal thanks to a single goal from Diego Costa.
United aiming to close gap to top four
Manchester United are in serious danger of missing out on the top-four places for the second time in three seasons. The 20-time former league champions have spent big but have failed to return to their previous dominant position in the league.
It appears that the Manchester United board retains full confidence in boss Louis van Gaal but many of the Old Trafford faithful remain unconvinced. With a five-point gap separating them from fourth-ranked Arsenal, many see this clash with Chelsea as a must-win game. The Red Devils come into this game on the back of a comfortable 3-0 home win against Stoke City.
Team news
Chelsea could welcome back Loic Remy but Radamel Falcao remains side-lined.
Meanwhile, the visitors will be without Ashley Young, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcus Rojo and Antonio Valencia.

Betting odds and tips
Chelsea are still finding wins hard to come by, having drawn their last three league games at home. However, United have managed just one win in their last five away games. This one looks all set for a draw.
