La Liga preview and odds: Getafe vs Sevilla
March 05, 2016 20:30pm - Coliseum Alfonso Perez
La Liga
Getafe will try to break their seven-game losing streak this weekend when they play host to a Sevilla side that has failed to win a single game away from home in La Liga this season.
Getafe desperate for a break
A run of seven straight defeats has left Getafe languishing in 16th place, just above the La Liga drop zone with just 11 games left to play. Prior to their recent loss of form, the Madrid side had lost just one of their previous nine games and looked to be on course for a mid-table finish.
On home soil, they have fallen to three consecutive 1-0 defeats at the hands of Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid and Celta de Vigo.
Can Sevilla finally win away?
Despite their lofty position in La Liga, Sevilla are the only team in the division who have yet to win a game away from home. On home soil, they have been totally dominant having won their last 12 games in row. In fact, only Barcelona have a better record when playing at home.
Unai Emery`s men now have a great chance to secure their first three-point haul on the road when they pay a visit to the leagues most out-of-form team.
Team news
Alvaro Pereira is suspended for the home side, while Damian Suarez, Carlos Vigaray and Roberto Lago are all injured.
Meanwhile, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Marco Andreolli and Nicolas Pereja are all unavailable for the visitors.

Betting odds and tips
Sevilla were two goals up at Rayo Vallecano recently before being pegged back to 2-2, and only narrowly fell at Barcelona in their last away game. Surely they can finally bag a win at hapless Getafe.
