Chelsea and Manchester city will clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in a game that could shape the course of the title race.

Conte admits Chelsea under pressure

Following Saturday`s home defeat to Crystal Palace, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admitted that the club was now feeling the pressure with expectations of a league title high. The defeat reduced their lead at the top of the table to seven points with just nine games to go. And with Tottenham hotspur and Liverpool both in good form, another defeat could spark panic at the Bridge.

The Blues have scored in each of their last nine matches but their once impenetrable defence has started to ship goals with at least one conceded in each of their last seven matches. The Londoners have yet to draw a blank at home and have scored the first goal in 79% of their matches.

Meanwhile, opponents Manchester City could haul themselves back into the title race with a win in London. Pep Guardiola`s men are unbeaten in eight but have drawn their last three in a row. A third of all their matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they have won three of their last four on the road, a run that included three clean sheets.

A win would move the Citizens within eight points of the leaders, still leaving them with a mountain to climb. However, it would also give them a massive boost in their quest for a top four place.

Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Bacary Sagna, Gabriel Jesus and Gundogan.
