La Liga preview and odds: Real Sociedad vs Levante
March 06, 2016 18:15pm - Estadio Municipal de Anoeta
La Liga
Real Sociedad will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they welcome bottom of the table Levante to San Sebastian in La Liga on Sunday.
Steady improvement under Eusebio
Since taking over from David Moyes back in November, Eusebio has guided Real Sociedad to seven wins in 16 games. Prior to his arrival, they had won just two of their previous 11. As a result, they have pulled away from the danger zone and are aiming for a top half finish.
A recent four-game winning run was broken by a 1-1 draw at home to Malaga and a 3-0 defeat away to Atletico Madrid. This weekend, La Real will fancy their chances of grabbing all three points against the league`s worst team.
Levante in trouble
Levante have lost 10 of their last 13 games and are now six points adrift of the safety zone at the bottom of La Liga. They have lost their last six away games in a row and have scored less goal than any other team in the league.
In their last match, Rubi`s men were beaten 3-1 on home soil by Real Madrid. Their only previous away win this season came at fellow strugglers Sporting Gijon back in November.
Team news
The home side are missing several players including Agirretxe, David Zurutuza, Markel Bergara, Carlos Martinez, Sergio Canales and Raul Navas.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Pedro Lopez.
