Premier League preview and odds: West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United
March 06, 2016 16:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
West Bromwich Albion will continue scrapping for mid-table places when they welcome Champions League chasers Manchester United to the Hawthorns on Sunday.
One defeat in six for Baggies
West Brom look to have secured their Premier League status for another season and can now concentrate on finishing as high up the table as possible. The Midland side have lost just two of their last 10 league matches and have risen to 13th in the table.
In their last match, Tony Pulis` men held league leaders Leicester City to a draw away from home. Prior to that, they secured back-to-back wins at home to Crystal Palace and away to Everton. On home soil, they are unbeaten in five, having won three and drawn two.
United can move into fifth
Manchester United are currently occupying sixth place, just outside of the European qualification places. A win on Sunday would left them above West Ham United into fifth.
The Red Devils have only won one of their last seven away matches in the league, having also drawn three and lost three. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win over Premier League freshmen Watford.
Team news
The home side will be without Chris Brunt and James Morrison.
Meanwhile, Louis van Gaal will continue to operate without the services of Donald Love, Cameron Borthwick, Will Keane, Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw.
