Sixth-ranked Arsenal could rise to third in the table with a win over AFC Bournemouth at the weekend. Meanwhile, the 10th-ranked visitors could also finish the weekend in the top four if they can take all three points from the Emirates.

Arsenal have gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions since losing to Liverpool at Anfield at the end of August. However, they have drawn three and won just one of their Premier League matches since then. That win came against bottom-of-the-table Watford.

On home soil, the Gunners are unbeaten this term having won two and drawn two. A win on Sunday would lift them to third in the table, nine points behind leaders Liverpool. Boss Unai Emery will not be happy that his team has conceded just one less goal than they have scored this term.

AFC Bournemouth are just a point behind Arsenal in the table and could go as high as fourth with a win. Eddie Howe`s men have won two of their three away games so far this season, their only defeat coming against third-ranked Leicester City.

The Cherries are unbeaten in their last three matches and have scored eight goals in that time. Overall, they have scored one and conceded one more than Arsenal, highlighting how little there is separating these teams.

The Londoners won this game 5-1 last season and also one the reverse fixture on the South Coast 2-1. Bournemouth have won just one of the eight meetings between the two.
