Champions League - Group Stage
Paris Saint-Germain will look to claim top spot in Group A when they host minnows Ludogorets at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night. The visitors themselves can claim a Europa League spot providing they at least match the Basel`s result against Arsenal.
Both sides still have unfinished business in Group A
Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery will want to ensure that his side achieves their pre-tournament goal of finishing in top spot in Group A of the Champions League. Winning the group could hand them a slightly more favourable draw in the knockout stages but will also ensure that the team takes confidence and momentum into the next round.
A victory of any kind will be enough to see the French side finish ahead of Premier League rivals Arsenal. The clubs are level on points but Emerys men have the edge by virtue of the number of away goals scored in their head-to-head games.
The Parisians come into this game on the back of a shock 3-0 reverse at Montpellier last weekend. That defeat left them in third place in the Ligue 1 table.
Meanwhile, opponents Ludogrets will be aiming to secure a third-place finish in the group that will see them through to the next phase of the Europa League. The Bulgarians currently hold third spot thanks to their superior head-to-head record against fourth-ranked Basel who host Arsenal on the same night.
If they can match the result of their rivals, they will prolong their stay in European competition into the New Year. They come into this game on the back of a morale-boosting home win over rivals Levski Sofia which left them six point clear at the top of their domestic league table.
Team news
The home side will hand a last fitness test to Thiago Motta, who is recovering from a calf issue, while fellow Italian Marco Verratti will miss out through suspension.

Betting odds and tips
PSG may have already qualified but they will be keen to make a statement by finishing top of Group A.
Meanwhile, Ludogrets can lose and still qualify for the Europa League but know that a draw will almost certainly see them through.
As a result, this should be a fairly open game and a decent goal count can be expected.
