Arsenal vs Manchester United - Premier League preview and odds
May 07, 2017 16:00pm - Emirates Stadium
Premier League
Arsenal will look to keep their top four hopes alive while scuppering Manchester United`s in the process when the two teams meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Gunners looking to bounce back from derby defeat
Last week`s North London derby defeat was the latest in a season-long list of disappointments for the Arsenal. They now have just a handful of games in which to salvage something from their campaign with boss Arsene Wenger`s future hanging in the balance.
It is still not clear whether the Frenchman will be in charge of the Gunners next season with the fan base deeply divided on the topic. However, failure to reach the top four could spell the end of the coaches 20+ years in charge.
The sixth-ranked side have lost just one of their last 15 home matches and are currently unbeaten in their last four. Liverpool are the only team in the top 14 to have taken all three points from the Emirates this term.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will arrive in London on the back of a trip to Spain for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Celta de Vigo from which they came away with a 1-0 advantage.
The Red Devils still have two routes to Champions League qualification but only the Europa League option is still in their own hands.
Jose Mourinho`s men have not lost away from home in the Premier League since October when they were beaten by his old club Chelsea. On their last road trip in the league, they secured a point thanks to a 0-0 draw at rivals Manchester City.

Betting odds and tips
Exactly 70% of all Arsenal`s matches this term have produced over 2.5 goals. The Gunners have scored in all but on eof their home matches including the last 11 in a row.
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 25 Premier League matches. What`s more, they have scored at least one goal in 81% of their away matches.
When the teams met at Old Trafford earlier in the season, they played out a 1-1 draw and a similar outcome should be expected here.
