Premier League preview and odds: Everton vs West Bromwich Albion
February 13, 2016 15:00pm - Goodison Park
Premier League
Everton will be hoping to make it three Premier League wins on the trot when they welcome a faltering West Bromwich Albion side to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Everton finally secure consecutive triumphs
After a run of 10 games in which they won just one, drew six and lost three, Everton have now recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season. As a result, the Merseyside club have risen above their neighbours from across Stanley Park to eighth place in the Premier League table.
Both of the Toffees victories finished 3-0, with Stoke City (away) and Newcastle (home) on the receiving end. The victory against the Magpies was Everton`s first home win in five matches. They now welcome a team that will be keen to break their own recent slide.
Baggies starting to look over their shoulder
West Bromwich Albion may not be in any immediate danger of relegation but their current form does not bode well. The Baggies are winless in five and have won just 2 of their last 12 games. As a result, they have slipped down to 14th place and are currently sat just six point above the drop zone. As the teams below start to battle for survival, Tony Pulis` men could get pencilled into the relegation equation.
The Midland side come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Newcastle United. Prior to that, they were held at home in back-to-back games against Swansea City (1-1) and Aston Villa (0-0).
Team news
The home side will continue without Muhamed Besic, Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert, while John Stones and Tim Howard are both doubtful.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to manage without Jonny Evans, James Morrison, Callum McManaman, while Chris Brunt could return.
