The tight battle for the final two Champions League qualification places continues as Chelsea look to leapfrog Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur and take charge of third place in the table - on a temporary basis at least. Out to frustrate them will be a West Ham United side still targeting a seventh-place finish.

The Blues are currently sat in fifth place having played the same number of games as their top four rivals. A win would put pressure on the other three teams battling for third and fourth place. Maurizio Sarris men still have two avenues to Champions League qualification open with a Europa League quarter-final coming up later in the week.

The Londoners are just seven points adrift of their total tally for the whole of last season with six games left to play. Improving on that and getting back into the top four could ease the pressure on the Italian boss who has been under intense scrutiny following a dip in form in January and February. Last time out, Chelsea cruised to a 3-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion to extend their unbeaten home record in the league to six.

Meanwhile, West Ham United are still looking for their first away win of 2019. The Hammers have lost five of their last six on the road and have only scored a single goal. Four of those games were against teams in the bottom half of the table.

Last time out, Manuel Pellegrini`s men were beaten 2-0 by mid-table rivals Everton, while their last away match (nearly a month ago) ended in a 2-0 reverse at Cardiff City.
