La Liga preview and odds: Levante vs Atletico Madrid
May 08, 2016 17:00pm - Estadio Ciudad de Valencia
La Liga
Levante may already be relegated but Atletico Madrid cannot afford to be complacent as they seek to keep their title hopes alive at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.
Levante playing for pride
Levante will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of relegation by giving their ever-faithful fans something to cheer about in their last home game of the season.
The 3-1 defeat away to Malaga last week was enough to seal the fate of Les Granotes who will return to the second tier after six seasons in the top flight.
Atletico
Atletico Madrid are still in the hunt for a Spanish league and Champions League double but will have to rely on Barcelona slipping up one more time if they are to secure the first of those two trophies.
The Rojiblancos come into this game on the back of six straight wins in the league during which they have conceded just two goals. They will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the game at Sporting Gijon in March where they gave away to late goals and left empty-handed against a side in the relegation zone.
Team news
Jose Mari is suspended for the home side.
Meanwhile, the visitors have a full-strength side to choose from.

Betting odds and tips
Levante will be keen to give a good account of themselves as they bow out of the top flight, but Atletico are on a roll and should edge this game.
