Premier League preview and odds: Arsenal vs Hull City
February 11 , 2017 12:30pm - Emirates Stadium
Premier League
Arsenal will look to halt a two-game losing streak when they welcome a resurgent Hull City to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The visitors arrive in good shape after a recent upturn in results.
Gunners may need a win to retain place in top four
With Liverpool and Manchester United both breathing down their necks, Arsenal could slip out of the top four if they fail to get a result against their relegation-threatened opponents at the weekend.
Arsene Wenger`s men have lost their last two games in a row and have won just four of their last nine in the Premier League. As a result, they have fallen 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea, leaving themselves with a mountain to climb in the title race.
Last time out, the Gunners fell 2-1 at home to 10th-ranked Watford, their first defeat at home since the opening day of the season. The North Londoners have scored at least one goal in each of their last 15 matches and 71% of their matches have produced over 2.5 goals scored in total.
Meanwhile, Hull City will be out to cause another upset after drawing 0-0 at Manchester United and then beating Liverpool 2-0 at home. Despite those results, they are still in the bottom three but are now just one point from safety.
The Tigers have lost just one of their last four in the league and that defeat came against top-of-the-table Chelsea. However, they have not won any of their last 11 games away from home.
Team news
Arsene Wenger is still suspended and will have to watch this game from the side-lines along with Granit Xhaka, who is also banned. Other absentees include the injured group of Aaron Ramsey (calf strain), Mathieu Debuchy (hamstring strain), Santi Cazorla (Achilles) and Hector Bellerin (head).
Meanwhile, the visitors also have a depleted squad with Michael Dawson (calf strain), Curtis Davies (hamstring strain), Ryan Mason (fractured skull), Markus Henriksen (dislocated shoulder), Will Keane (knee), Brian Lenihan (knee) and Moses Odubajo (MPFL) all injured, while Ahmed Elmohamady (international duty) and Greg Luer (cartilage) are both doubtful.

Betting odds and tips
Hull have impressed in each of their last four games and probably should have had a penalty against Chelsea with the score still at 0-0. However, they have not won on the road since September.
The Tigers have kept first half clean sheets away from home on seven occasions this season, while Arsenal have failed to score in the opening 45 minutes in four of their last five games. As a result, the first half draw looks like a good bet.
