Norway vs Czech Republic - World Cup Qualification Europe Preview and Odds
June 10, 2017 19:45pm - Ullevaal Stadium
World Cup Qualification - Group C
Norway already look to be out of contention for a World Cup qualifying place and will now seek to avoid the humiliation of finishing below Azerbaijan in the Group C.
With just three points on the board after five games, the solitary win coming against minnows San Marino, their campaign can already be declared a disaster. Especially when considering they are four points adrift of the unfancied Azerbaijani team.
A win on Saturday would keep them mathematically in the hunt for second place but they will have to overcome a team who come into this game in decent shape.
The Czech Republic are just two points behind second-ranked Northern Ireland and come into this game having lost just two of their last eight fixtures. Last week they were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Belgium and prior to that, they won three out of four matches including a 2.1 win over this weekend`s opponents.
The Czechs were widely expected to finish 2nd behind Germany in Group C but a run of three games without victory at the start of the campaign has left them playing catch up. In fact, they did not even score until their fourth match, at home to Norway.

Betting odds and tips
Norway are in dire form having lost six out of their last seven games, while the Czech Republic seem to be finding their feet in this campaign. As a result, the 15/8 for the away win looks tempting.
