Euro 2016 Qualifier preview and odds: Kazakhstan vs. Netherlands
October 10, 2015 18:00pm Astana Arena
Euro 2016 Group A
Netherlands are in danger of missing out on a major international tournament for the first time since the 2002 FIFA World Cup Finals. They now face a tricky trip to Astana where a win against group strugglers Kazakhstan would boost their lingering play-off hopes.
Kazakhstan could trigger Dutch Euro exit
Kazakhstan may be down and out in Group A but they will still be looking forward to welcoming one of European football`s biggest teams to their national stadium in Astana. Their illustrious visitors currently occupy fourth spot in the group and need to overhaul a two-point deficit to Turkey if they are to stand any chance of booking a place at next summer`s Euro football party.
With Iceland and the Czech Republic already qualified, third place is the only potential qualification route left for Turkey and Netherlands. Whoever grabs that spot will still have to navigate their way through a play-offs to seal a place at Euro 2016.
Danny Blind`s men will be well aware of the qualities of the home side having played them in Amsterdam last year. Netherlands had to come from behind to win the game 3-1 but were helped when their opponents were reduced to 10 men. That game was the only previous meeting between the two sides.
The Oranje have had a disastrous qualifying campaign by their usual high standards. They suffered their first ever home Euro qualifying defeat at the hands of Iceland last year, and have lost four out of their eight games played so far, with three of those defeats coming away from home.
Team news
The Dutch team will be without Bruno Martins Indi who is serving the last of a two-game suspension, and Gregory van der Wiel who is also suspended for this match.

Betting odds and tips
Netherlands have played in every European Championship tournament since 1984 and will now have to rely on other results to go their way if they are to stand any chance of progressing. However, their opponents are one of the weaker teams in the section and should be an easy conquest for the Dutch.
You can back Netherlands to Win to Nil at 5/6 with Betvictor. In the First Goal Scorer market, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is on offer at 15/4 with Bet365.
