Leicester City vs Arsenal - Premier League Preview and Odds
November 09, 2019 17:30pm - King Power (Leicester City)
Premier League
Leicester City already have one more point than they had at the same stage of their title-winning season four years ago. However, they have yet to be referred to as title contenders this time around due the blistering start made by Liverpool and the fact Manchester City are also ahead of them in the table.
The Foxes can actually move above City on Saturday evening - on a temporary basis at least - with a win over fifth-ranked Arsenal.
Brendan Rodgers men are unbeaten at home this season having drawn their opener against Wolves and won their last four in a row. They have scored at least twice in each of their last four home games but have only kept one clean sheet (in the 5-0 demolition of Newcastle). Only Manchester City have scored more goals than the East Midlands side and no team has conceded less.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are already six points adrift of the top six and will be desperate for a result on Saturday evening. The Gunners have won just two of their last nine Premier League matches and are as close to 17th-ranked Everton as they are to fourth-ranked Chelsea. A defeat could send them hurtling down the table depending on other results.
Unai Emery is already feeling the pressure thanks to his team`s unconvincing performances this term and will want to see a response this weekend. There have already been suggestions that the club are eyeing up potential replacements for the Spanish Coach. A win against the league`s third-ranked side could buy him some valuable time as he looks to get the Londoner`s season back on track.

Betting odds and tips
Leicester City look like a well-drilled team worthy of a top-four finish while Arsenal lack any real identity at this moment in time. The Foxes home dominance is unlikely to be weakened by a side who have looked scrappy over the first 11 games.
The belief and confidence that Rodgers has instilled into his team is in stark contrast to that of the Arsenal squad. It would take a real change of fortune for the Gunners to take anything from this game. At a price of Evens, the home win looks like great value.
