Premier League preview and odds: Stoke City vs Norwich City
January 13, 2016 19:45pm - Britannia Stadium
Premier League
Stoke City will once again try and break free from their mid-table chains on Wednesday when they welcome steady climbers Norwich City to the Britannia Stadium in the Barclays Premier League.
City strong at home
Every time Mark Hughes`s men manage to break into the upper reaches of the Premier League table, they inevitably fall back down again. After recent wins over Manchester united and Everton, the Potters were disappointingly beaten 2-1 away to West Brom in their last game. As a result, they have fallen back to the halfway point in the standings - a position that they have become very familiar with.
Norwich finding their feet
Norwich have now accumulated 23 Premier League points - well over half the total that they are likely to need to retain their Premier League status. Along with Bournemouth and Watford, they have shown that they are capable of competing in the top flight, with all three currently on course for survival.
Alex Neil`s team come into this game on the back of a pair of home wins against Aston Villa and Southampton. They have lost just won of their last five games, having won three and drawn the other. Prior to that, they had won just one of their previous 10 games.
Team news
Geoff Cameron and Stephen Ireland could both be available for the Potters after recovering from injury. However, Marc Muniesa is unlikely to feature for at least another week.
Meanwhile, the Canaries should have a full strength squad to choose from.
