Premier League preview and odds: Stoke City vs Crystal Palace
February 11 , 2017 15:00pm - Bet365 Stadium
Premier League
Stoke City will look to beak a three-game winless streak when they welcome a sinking Crystal Palace side to the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday. Meanwhile, defeat for the visitors could send them to the foot of the Premier League table.
Two wins in 10 for Stoke City
After a run of jut two wins in their last 10 matches, Stoke City have slipped down to 11th place in the Premier League. It now looks unlikely that they will be able to better the ninth place finish that they have achieved in the last three seasons under Mark Hughes.
The Potters are unbeaten in league matches six at home but four of those ended in draws. Six of their last seven home matches have produced under 2.5 goals. Since the second week of September, only AFC Bournemouth have defeated Hughes` men on home soil.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace face the prospect of ending the weekend at the foot of the Premier League table. Results have yet to improve under new boss Sam Allardyce, and with the teams around them all picking up valuable points in recent weeks, the club looks to be on course for relegation.
Last time out, the Eagles were embarrassed 0-4 at home by fellow strugglers Sunderland. Prior to that, they bagged their first win in eight (at Bournemouth) but they have failed to pick up any other points in their last six games.
Team news
The home side will have to make do without the injured group of Jonathan Walters (knee inflammation), Geoff Cameron (knee), Jack Butland (ankle) and Stephen Ireland (double leg fracture), while Glen Johnson (Achilles), Xherdan Shaqiri (calf strain) and Ramadan Sobhi (AFCON) are all doubtful.
Meanwhile, Scott Dann (muscular), Yohan Cabaye (ankle), Bakary Sako (hamstring strain ), Connor Wickham (knee ligament), Steve Mandanda (knee), Jonathan Benteke (meniscus) and Pape Souare (surgery) are all undergoing treatment and will miss out for the visitors, while Jeffrey Schlupp (hamstring) is also a doubt.

Betting odds and tips
Despite the win at Bournemouth, Palace have been consistently awful since the end of September. Big Sam has pulled off some great escapes before but this time he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
Stoke City are not in particularly great form but they are still tough to beat at home. They should have no problem in overcoming the challenge of their out-of-sorts opposition.
Six of Stoke`s last seven home games and three of Palaces`s last four away fixtures have produced under 2.5 goals. And that looks likethe choice bet for this game.
You can back Under 2.5 Goals at 3/4 with Bet365.
