Premier League preview and odds: West Ham United vs West Bromwich Albion

February 11 , 2017 15:00pm - London Stadium

Premier League

West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion are side-by-side in the Premier League table but who will prevail when the teams meet at the London Stadium on Saturday?

Three wins in four for Hammers

West Ham United`s early-season relegation fears have been all but eliminated by a run of six wins in their last nine games. As a result, the Londoners have climbed up to ninth place in the Premier League table and will now look to close the gap on eighth-ranked West Bromwich Albion,

Last time out, the Hammers bounced back from a miserable 0-4 home defeat to Manchester City by cruising to a 3-1 win away to Southampton.

Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion have lost just one of their last six Premier League matches and are currently five points above their opponents in the league table. Away from home, however, they have won just one of their last six.

Last time out, the Baggies edged to a 1-0 win over mid-table rivals Stoke City and prior to that, they played out a 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough. Their last away win came at Southampton on New Year`s Eve.

Team news

The home side are still nursing an extensive injury list that includes Angelo Ogbonna (knee surgery), Alvaro Arbeloa (knock), Arthur Masuaku (knee), Diafra Sakho (hamstring strain) and Gokhan Tore (quadriceps strain), while Andre Ayew (AFCON), Andy Carroll (tight groin) and Sam Byram (tight hamstring) are both doubtful.

Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without the services of Brendan Galloway (knock), Claudio Yacob (stomach cramps doubtful) and Jonny Evans (calf strain doubtful).
