Premier League preview and odds: Everton vs West Bromwich Albion
March 11, 2017 15:00 pm - Goodison Park
Premier League
The battle for seventh place will reach a crucial point on Saturday as Everton look to keep Tony Pulis` troops at arm`s length by grabbing their fifth-straight home win in the Premier League. A win for the visitors would move them to within a point of their hosts heading into the last 10 games of the season.
Everton looking to bounce back from Spurs defeat
Few teams have come away from White Hart Lane with points this season so Everton should not be too downhearted, having fallen 3-2 in London last week. They now return to Goodison Park where they have enjoyed a run of four straight league wins in 2017.
Only Liverpool have beaten Ronald Koeman`s men at home this season and that match was decided by a single goal in the dying seconds of the game. That was also the only home game in which they failed to find the net this term.
Meanwhile, West Brom come into this game on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace. That result broke a five-game unbeaten run for the Baggies and left them four points adrift of their seventh-ranked opponents.
Away from home, the Midland side have drawn their last two in a row but have only managed one win in their last seven. What`s more, they have conceded at least one goal in each of their last 12 away matches.
Team news
The Toffees will have to cope without the injured duo of Yannick Bolasie (knee) and Muhamed Besic (knee ligament), while Dominic Calvert-Lewin has an ankle issue and remains a doubt.
The visitors are almost back to full strength with Matt Phillips the only doubt after suffering from a thigh problem.

Betting odds and tips
With just one defeat in their last 10 games and only one defeat at home all season, Everton look like a good bet to grab all three points. Especially when considering that the Baggies have gained just one point from the eight games they have played against teams above them in the league.
The Everton win does not offer much value at 4/6 but that can be boosted to 5/4 by backing the Romelu Lukaku Score/Win double.
