Premier League preview and odds: Norwich City vs Watford
May 11 , 2016 19:45pm - Carrow Road
Premier League
Norwich City will attempt to keep their feint survival hopes alive when they line up against a Watford side aiming for a mid-table finish.
Must-win game for Norwich
Norwich will have to win both of their remaining Premier League matches and hope that other results go their way if they are to remain in the top flight for another season.
A run of four straight defeats has plunged the Norfolk club into their current predicament while their rivals have continued to pick up points. They currently reside in 19th place in the table, four pints adrift of safety with the second-worse goal difference in the league.
In their last game, they were beaten 1-0 on home soil by Manchester United and prior to that they lost by the same score-line away to Arsenal.
Watford eyeing mid-table finish
Having achieved their objective of remaining in the Premier League, Watford will now be aiming to finish as high up the league table as possible.
The Hornets still have an outside chance of finishing in the top 10 but an 11th place finish may be a more realistic target. The main problem for Quique Sanchez Flores could be motivating his players for a game that has little meaning in the overall picture of their season.
The Hertfordshire side are playing away from home for the second time this week having fallen 2-0 at Liverpool on Sunday.
Team news
Andre Wisdom, Timm Klose and Alexander Tettey are all still missing for the home side.
Meanwhile, Etienne Capoue is the only confirmed absentee for the visitors.
