Premier League preview and odds: West Ham United vs Manchester United
May 10 , 2016 19:45pm - Boleyn Ground
Premier League
The last ever game to be played at the Boleyn Ground will see seventh-ranked West Ham take on fifth-ranked Manchester United with vital European qualification places still up for grabs.
Hammers bid farewell to Boleyn Ground
After 112 years of residency, West Ham United will play their last ever game at the Boleyn Ground on Tuesday night. As of next season, the East London club will be operating from their new base at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
In their final game, the Hammers will attempt to get their Europa League qualification dreams back on track by grabbing all three points against the 20-time former league champions.
Last weekend, the Londoner`s were beaten at home in the league for the first time since the opening day of the season when they fell 4-1 to Swansea City. They will now have to win both of their remaining games to stand any chance of hosting European football at their new stadium next term.
Fate in United`s hand
If Manchester United win both of their remaining games, they will be guaranteed a place in next year`s Champions League qualification stage at the expense of their city rivals.
Louis van Gaal`s men will be hoping for a repeat of their FA Cup performance back in April when they beat the Hammers 2-1 on this ground. They come into this game win the back of a 1-0 win away to Norwich in the league.
Team news
Carl Jenkinson is still out for the home side.
Meanwhile, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Will Keane and Luke Shaw are all out of action for the visitors.
