Premier League preview and odds: Manchester City vs Swansea City
December 12, 2015 15:00pm - Etihad Stadium
Premier League
Manchester City have won just one of their last four Premier League matches and will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Swansea side when the teams meet at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
City boosted by Euro win
Manchester City`s league form may not have been great in recent weeks but they secured top spot in their ChampionsÂ’ League group on Tuesday night with a 4-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. With European qualification wrapped up, they can now concentrate on getting their league campaign back on track.
Despite winning just one of their last four league games, Manuel Pellegrini`s men are just three points off the top of the table in third place. They come into this game on the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Stoke City. At home, they have remained strong, with the 1-4 home defeat to Liverpool the only blip in their last five games.
Swansea in hunt for new boss
Swansea have finally parted company with Coach Garry Monk after a run of 11 games that included just one victory (away to stricken Aston Villa). Since that win, the Swans have lost four and drawn one and now find themselves just one point clear of the relegation zone with 15 games played.
They come into this game on the back of a 0-3 home defeat to league leaders Leicester City. Prior to that, they were beaten 1-0 away from home by Liverpool. It remains to be seen whether there will be a new boss in place before this game kicks off on Saturday.
Team news
City are still managing without key players such as Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta.
Meanwhile, Swansea will be without Macedo Lopes and Franck Tabanou.

Betting odds and tips
Manchester City should be able to take advantage of a managerless Swansea side that is struggling for goals and for confidence. The away side have failed to score in four of their last five games and City could be on course to grab their first home clean sheet since August. The home Win to Nil can be backed at 13/10 with Bet365.
