The Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase is one of the most interesting and demanding races of the Cheltenham Festival. The 3m 6f race features a series of challenging obstacles and a testing sprint finish. Tiger Roll returns in search of a third-straight win before heading off to Aintree where he will attempt to complete a historic Grand National hat-trick.
All eyes and most of the money will be on Tiger Roll and it`s hard to look past the cross country specialist here. However, there are other horses in the race. Amongst them is Easysland who has shown good form and arrives unbeaten in six completed cross country starts including over this course and distance on good-to-soft ground back in December. He also proved his worth on very soft ground at Pau, seeing off some good company in a 3m7f listed event. If anyone is going to rain on Tiger Roll`s parade, it is likely to be Easysland and we are going out on a limb to say that he is going to do it.
Might Bite is taking on a cross country field for the first time and many expect him to go well. A quality chaser on his day, he looked in good shape when third in a Grade Two and Newbury last month and will attract some each-way money.
