Premier League preview and odds: Crystal Palace vs Everton
April 13 , 2016 20:00pm - Selhurst Park
Premier League
Crystal Palace finally brought a halt to their 14-game winless streak at the weekend, and now face an Everton side who are without a win in their last four league matches.
Win moves Palace one step closer to safety
Crystal Palace bagged their first three-point haul of 2016 on Saturday with a 1-0 triumph over relegation-threatened Norwich City. That win lifted the Eagles 10 points clear of the drop zone with six games left to play. Next up for Alan Pardew`s men is their game-in-hand against out-of-form Everton.
Prior to the win over Norwich, the Londoners had lost six home matches in a row, and they have not scored more than one goal on home soil since November.
Everton better away from home
Everton are currently occupying 14th place in the league table and have yet to break the 40-point barrier. A run of 18 games with just four wins has seen the Toffees slip slowly down the table, in what has been a disappointing league campaign.
The Merseyside team have actually performed better away from home, having lost just two of their last 16 away matches in the league. In their most recent game, the came away with a point after holding 15th-ranked Watford to a 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road.
Team news
The home side still have injury issues with Marouane Chamakh, James McArthur and Kwesi Appiah all in the treatment room.
Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez will have to cope without the services of Steven Pienaar, Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert.
