Iceland vs Croatia - World Cup Qualification Europe Preview and Odds

World Cup Qualification - Group I
Iceland gained lots of new admirers following their performances at last year`s Euro 2016 tournament. Not only did they qualify for the event against the odds, they also progressed all the way to the quarter-finals where they were eventually beaten 5-2 by hosts France.
There was much speculation as to whether they would be able to replicate that form in this World Cup qualifying campaign, but so far, they have continued right where they left off last summer. With three wins, one draw and one defeat to their name, they are currently on course to finish in at least a play-off position.
Their sole defeat came against table-toppers Croatia, who remain unbeaten in Group I. In a recent run of friendly matches, they have had mixed results, losing to Mexico and Chile but beating China and the Republic of Ireland. On home soil, they are unbeaten in their last nine matches.
Meanwhile, Croatia will look to strengthen their grip on Group I by seeing off their main challengers. The visitors are three points clear at the top of the table having won their last four matches in a row since drawing to Turkey on Matchday One.

Betting odds and tips
This should be an entertaining encounter with both sides marking the score sheet. However, Iceland have yet to defeat their opponents in the five previous meetings between the two with Croatia winning four and the other game ending in a draw.
Taking Iceland`s improvement into account, the draw could definitely come into play here.
