Premier League preview and odds: Burnley vs Chelsea
February 12 , 2017 13:30pm - Turf Moor
Premier League
Burnley will look to make it six home wins in row when they take on league leaders Chelsea at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the visitors can extend their lead at the top of the table to 12 points with a win.
Nine wins in last 12 at home for Burnley
Only three teams in the Premier League have a better home record than Burnley. The Lancashire side have picked up an impressive 28 points from a possible 39 at Turf Moor and look to be on course for top flight survival, despite their shocking away record,
Sean Dyche`s men have won their last five home matches in a row and have only conceded one goal in their last four. WhatÂ’s more, they have scored at least one goal in each of their last eight games on home soil. Seven of their home matches have been level at halftime, six of them with a 0-0 score-line. A win against the table-toppers would propel the Clarets back into the Premier League`s top 10 places.
Meanwhile, Chelsea can move a step closer to the Premier League title with a win on Sunday. The Blues already have a nine point lead over second-ranked Tottenham Hotspur, who lost to Liverpool yesterday.
However, Antonio Conte`s men have won just one of their last three away matches, having lost 2-0 at Spurs and drawn 1-1 at Liverpool, either side of a 3-0 triumph away to Leicester City. The Londoners have been leading 1-0 at halftime in seven of the 12 away games they have played.
Team news
Jeff Hendrick is suspended for the home side, while Steven Defour (groin strain), Dean Marney (ACL) and Kevin Long (knee surgery) are all out of action.
Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has a calf strain and is a slight doubt for the visitors.

Betting odds and tips
Burnley are tough to beat at home, so Chelsea may have to be patient in this game. Six of the Claret`s home matches have been scoreless in the first half and a similar pattern should be expected today as they seek to shut out and frustrate their opponents.
