Premier League preview and odds: Norwich City vs Sunderland
April 16 , 2016 12:45pm - Carrow Road
Premier League
Two of the Premier League`s relegation-threatened sides will go head-to-head on Saturday lunchtime when 17th-ranked Norwich City welcome 18th-ranked Sunderland to Carrow Road.
Norwich can pull clear of rivals
Norwich currently have a four-point cushion over their relegation rivals but have played one game more. A win on Saturday would move them seven points clear of Sunderland and at least six points clear of Newcastle with four games left to play.
The Canaries have the best form of any of the relegation candidates, having won seven points from their last four games. However, they were beaten by out-of-form Crystal Palace last time out and have only won one of their last six home games.
One win in 11 for Sunderland
Sunderland have only won one of their last 11 Premier League matches and remain four points adrift of safety in 18th place. A recent run of four straight draws was halted last week when they were beaten 2-0 at home by league leaders Leicester City.
Sam Allardyce`s men have won just two games away from home all season with their last victory coming at Swansea back in January. However, they have managed to score at least one goals in 10 of their last 11 away games. In their last away match, they held local rivals Newcastle to a 1-1 draw at St. James` Park.
Team news
The home side will have to make do without Timm Klose and Alexander Tetty.
Meanwhile, Duncan Watmore is the only absentee for the visitors.
