Everton vs Watford - Premier League preview and odds
May 12, 2017 19:45pm - Goodison Park
Premier League
Seventh-ranked Everton will look to break a three-game winless streak when they welcome 15th-ranked Watford to Goodison Park on Friday night. The visitors themselves have little left to pay for and come into this game on the back of a three-game losing streak,
Seventh place guaranteed for Toffees
Everton already have seventh place in the bag and will now play out the first of their two remaining fixtures on Friday night. Any slim chances of qualifying for Europe were scuppered by a run of three games in which they picked up just a single point.
Last time out, Ronald Koeman`s men fell 1-0 away to a Swansea City side still fighting for their Premier League future. Prior to that, they were defeated at home for only the second time this season by champions elect Chelsea. That loss brought to an end a run of eight straight wins at Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Watford`s season looks to be fizzling out after a run of three straight defeats plunged them back into the bottom six. While relegation is still a remote mathematical possibility, it now looks likely that the Hornets will be playing in the Premier League for a third-straight season since earning promotion from the Championship.
Walter Mazzarri`s men have lost their last five away games in a row, failing to score in each of them. Last time out, they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Leicester City.

Betting odds and tips
Despite their recent run, Everton`s home record still makes impressive reading, with the Merseyside club having won 69% of their points at home.
Likewise, Watford have been much stronger on home soil this term and come into this game having lost five away games in a row without scoring a goal. What`s more, they have conceded at least once in their last 12 away games.
